/ E / The exhibition PROJECTION deals with an examination of the properties of the medium of video projection to convey personal content and emotion. The starting point of the exhibition is therefore the term "projection", which refers to video and film, which is one of the most common media for making image content visible.
At the same time, the term "psychological projection" in psychoanalysis also refers to a defense mechanism in which inner-psychic content can contradict one's own and social norms through the depiction of one's own emotions, desires, impulses and characteristics. Hereby a difference of one's own image and that of the outside world arises. Thereupon, the basis of empathy is integrated, which brings the subjective world of the artists closer to the visitors through the projection of personal experiences.
For the implementation of the exhibition, a variety of contemporary artistic works are used to implement the themes in a current exhibition format and to represent the artists' own experiences.
